Coron is one
of the Palawan provinces, an island municipality comprises of 50 and other
minor islets. Major industries of Coron, Palawan include fishing and tourism it
was also known that a certain area of Coron became a mining site during the
Japanese occupation period, a proof of these were dozen of sunken Japanese
warships and now a major tourist diving destination.
Evergreen Diving Resort is built on Popototan
Island, part of Coron, Palawan. The island is almost entirely grown over with a
pristine jungle-like population of trees. Right in front of the resort there is
a beautiful local reef.
There are many interesting trips to different
islands. A must-see is a visit to the wildlife sanctuary of Calauit, as well as
an excursion to the hot spring nearby Coron, a guided jungle tour, adventurous
cave diving, or a ride in a banca along a river through unique nature.
